Danger: This is a “Pro-Homosexuality Blog” August 30, 2006

Well… my recent criticisms of Peter LaBarbera and the new national anti-gay organization Americans for “Truth” has gotten me listed as a “pro-homosexuality blog”. Yep, Andrew Sullivan, Ex-Gay Watch, Good As You, Pam’s House Blend and little ol’ me are officially sodomite-loving bloggers according to the Americans for “Truth” site.
My hope: Although it is unlikely us pro-gay bloggers will find common ground with Americans for “Truth”, there is always the potential to reach their readers with well-argued and venom-free posts. It may be difficult to hold in my disdain and I am doubtful that I will be able to a good portion of the time, but solid and humanized arguments may make a difference.
Don’t get me wrong… I am not delusional. Most visiting Americans for “Truth” will not take a moment to consider our thoughts, much less believe them, but there is always the remote possibility that a moderate sitting at their site will recognize the difference between denying equal rights and fighting for them.
Congratulations! You must be so proud. Now go do something gay to really make it official.
I am not against homosexuals either. I wish to congratulate you for accepting who you are and acknowleding the world you have chosen to belong to.

Is being a “pro-homosexual blog” a bad thing? Isn’t it the same thing as being an “anti-anti-homosexual blog”? Whatever — I think congratulations are in order!

Wanting same sex marriage shows that people are blind to reality. Many people compare the homosexuals to different race marriages. Consequently, the differences are numerous. Any healthy male and female couples that married stay healthy. On the other hand, homosexuals are prone to multifarious diseases. In addition, 90% of American’s runaways come from fatherless children. With out a mother and a father, a child is missing a critical ingredient for belongingness.
Traditional marriage improves health and lengthens the life span of the man and the women. Further more, children from traditional marriage homes are seven times likelier to live in poverty. The homosexual parents have the opposite results of straight marriages, having negative examples. For example, the majority of people that are trapped in poverty come from a fatherless or motherless family. Supporting homosexuals is the same as supporting unhealthiness and poverty. Therefore, the government, keeping the people from harmful deeds, should keep homosexual marriages outlawed.
^ Oh really, and you may as well post proof of that, perhaps from a NON-biased source, otherwise you look like you’re talking out of your homophobic rear. There are plenty of articles with opinions differing from yours, as well as reports which say that a child doesn’t necessarily need both a mother and father to be a healthy, well-rounded person. In fact, they may be even more open-minded, as they should be. Here’s at least one person who reckons it’s good for kids:

He doesn’t sound like a raving person who is blind to reality, does he? I’ve also seen reports on the news, but they’re hard to find on the internet, because unfortunately a lot of people think like you.

My parents Malvin and Wanda Shamblin were cotton and peanut farmers. Dad died in 99 from lung cancer. Graduated from SWOSU with a business degree. My two sisters are LaDonna Hubert and Malva Burrahm. Dennis is my brother. I have been a truck driver for 14 years and have driven 2 million paid miles. I have received many safe driving awards over the years. I am single and have never been married. I have a wide range of interests and am pretty much an open book. Currently I drive a 2006 Freightliner for a major carrier. I dont go to Canada very often. I dont have a dedicated route so I run the entire lower 48. I enjoy reading cinema music sports travel etc. I am gay and versatile.

As the years go on, more and more people from young to old decides that they are homosexuals. It is so alarming to me and kind of sickening because homosexuality is not just a feeling anymore rather than some type of means of popularity, being in the in-crowd, belong to something. Deep down inside, they are alone, sad, lost and feel forgotten.
By the way, for those who were hurt from ex boy friends or ex girl friends and become gay, you are just fucking physically and mostly mentally weak and pathetic!

Try thinking this way—that your “lifestyle” may be wrong and you are looking through blinded eyes. You say you are a catholic. The catholic Church teaches what the Bible says on the subject. If you are a catholic you need to obey the rules. It looks like you want to make your own belief system. What will you base it on? Feelings?
Then we will start a religion also for pedophiles, those into bestiality and other “lifestyles” that for 6000 years were found sinful and against society but now we can declare it’s all good by creating our own religions.
Homosexuality
Should we applaud it, condone it or eradicate it?
To answer the question, we need to first understand what homosexuality is and then determine if it is wrong or right behavior.
In determining if it is wrong or right behavior, we must understand that there exists wrong and right behavior in the world today.
Most people will agree that senseless murder is wrong behavior. Also wrong is robbery, assault and you get the point, the list goes on.
We must also recognize that these “standards” were obtained from the founders of our Country and their source was the Bible.
Now for those who want to oppose the Bible as the final “authority” in all matters of law and morality, we can not argue with you other to say you are wrong. This Country was founded on Biblical principals. Those principals have withstood the test of time for almost 6000 years of recorded history. It has been only in the last forty years or so that some have determined that all our teachings before us were wrong and now we must believe this “new and enlightened” generation whose sources of information are mostly their own “feelings” hence the term “if it feels right do it.”
I will address the issue, logically, based on the bible and perhaps use some common sense also.
If we see nature, we see that all creation was developed to recreate, plants, animals and mankind. For all species there is a male and a female.
This is the natural (for all you environmentalists) way of maintaining the population.
It is also the spiritual way. God commanded it.
He commanded it for the fish and fowls:
Gen 1:21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
And He commanded it for humans:
Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Gen 1:22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
So God made them male and female and commanded them to populate the earth. Only the male with the female are able to do this. Anything else is Unnatural!
The commandment was given also to Noah and his sons after the flood:
Gen 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
No where do we read of homosexuality being good or evil at this point.
We get to Gen 13:13 and read: But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.
The Bible just tells us they were exceedingly wicked and at this point says nothing about how they were wicked.
We get to:Gen 18:16 where it tells us : And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.
Gen 18:17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
There were three “men” (at least resembled men) who were angels one of which was “The Angel of the Lord” which was the second person of the Trinity who would be Jesus.
He was about to do something to Sodom and considered telling Abraham.
Gen 18:20 Tells us why He will do what he will do :
And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; -still not revealing their sin.
At this point the famous conversation between the Lord and Abraham begins as Abraham tries to negotiate with the Lord so that righteous people would not be destroyed with the wicked as we will later see it was God’s intention to destroy Sodom.
The Lord ended the conversation by saying if He found 19 righteous people He would not destroy Sodom.
The Lord leaves the scene but the two angels proceed to Sodom and are invited by Abraham’s nephew (Lot) to lodge with his family.
The revelation of the towns wickedness is plainly shown in this next verse:
Gen 19:4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
Gen 19:5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
It tells us it was “all the men” that came and that they wanted to “Know” the visitors. The “know” was in a sexual sense. Please be advised that these two men appeared as men and not as Angels and the men of Sodom had no idea that they were anything other then men.
This is the first Biblical account of Homosexuality being “extremely” wicked.
In case you missed the point here is a plain statement found in leviticus.
Lev 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
that is the law, the rule, the command and there is no getting around it. Many homosexuals say they don’t believe the Bible but call themselves “religious”. I tell you it is a man made religion that constructs their own God in their image. Their God will jump through any hoop they want him to jump through. It is a god of convenience. Not the true god but a man made god which always allows you to do whatever you like.
For those who say that was “Old Testament Law” and does not apply today I would first tell you that our Lord said not one jot or tittle would pass from the law. “Thou shalt not kill” remains true today as it did then.
Yet for the sake of further proof: 1Co 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
“abusers of themselves with mankind” are homosexuals. This verse also includes cross dresswers and the like.
For the sake of time, I will hold back many other references to the truth.
I might add this, that homosexuals are not the only ones that twist the truth to try to justify their actions. Those who steal, lie, curse, cheat on their spouses, and much more tend to rationalize their actions.
We live in a world that denies the truth. “Fair is foul and foul is fair” is the slogan of the times. We twist the truth so that we can feel justified but we never are and never feel “right.”
Let me just say that there is a better way for those who practice wrong and call it right. You can practice right and be blessed more than you could be by doing evil.
The pleasures of sin are temporary but the gift of God is eternal.
1Jn 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
